Junior Mortgage Specialist:

Reports to: Business Development Manager

Location: 310 Sheppard West - Yonge Street & Sheppard Avenue West

Education:

High School Diploma
Currently enrolled or planning to take an Ontario Mortgage Agent course that has been approved by FSCO (Financial Services Commission of Ontario)

Join Progressive Mortgages as a Junior Mortgage Agent, applying your ability to think at various levels to help deliver effective borrowing needs.  You will be self motivated dealing with your own clients and ensuring that their specific borrowing needs have been successfully fulfilled.

Experience (minimum 1 year in any of the following):

    * Campaign marketing
    * Sales in real estate or banking
    * Customer service
    * Previous mortgage experience
    * Sales in general

Personal Skills:

    * Excellent presentation and organizational skills
    * Demonstrate a strong business sense
    * Self-starter with proven initiative and ability to work with little or no supervision
    * Strong work ethic
    * Ability to build trust and to maintain long-term client relationships

Compensation (income potential):

Junior: 
Minimum: $40000/yr - no maximum

Senior: $60000/yr - no maximum

Experience :

    * Proven sales track record preferably in the Financial or Real Estate industry
    * 2 years of experience being a Mortgage Specialist/Agent
    * Customer service
    * Extensive sales and marketing experience
    * Strong computer skills will be an asset

Personal Skills:

    * Excellent presentation and organizational skills
    * Demonstrate a strong business sense
    * Self-starter with proven initiative and ability to work with little or no supervision
    * Strong work ethic
    * Networking, prospecting and asking your clients for referrals is critical to success
    * Ability to build trust and to maintain long-term client relationships
